Roll-A-Palooza

Join us for our first annual Roll-A-Palooza, a log rolling tournament at Michigan Tech, hosted by the Outdoor Adventure Program!

We have a full day of tournament style competition which includes a round robin bracket to determine seeding and a single elimination knock out round. We have five divisions that encompass all ages: Youth (5-10), Youth (11-17), Collegiate Men, Collegiate Women, and Adult Sport.

• Date: Saturday, April 6th
• Time: 12-5pm
• Location: Student Development Complex, 101 MacInnes Drive, Houghton, MI 49931

Registration:
• Youth: $20
• Collegiate or Adult: $25 
• Late Registration (after 04/01/19): $35
• Group Rates: For groups of 4 or more competitors from the same college or region, contact oap@mtu.edu for group registration.

Registration fees include: tournament entry, t-shirt, an after party meal, and a chance at door prizes!
Event Schedule:
12-1pm: Event Check-In, Warm-Up, & Skills Clinic
1:15pm: Competition Begins
1:15-4pm: Round Robin & Single Elimination Brackets
4:15pm: Championship Rounds - All Divisions
5pm: Awards & After Party
 
Lodging:
The Outdoor Adventure Program has partnered with the Super 8 Hotel in Houghton, MI to provide competitors with a 20% discount on lodging. In order to receive the discount, call the Super 8 and inform them that you are part of the 'Michigan Tech Log Rolling Tournament' and the discounted rate will be applied to your stay. The discount is available from 4/5/19 - 4/7/19.

Additional Information:
• Competition rules & regulations will follow the Key Log and FILR standards.
• Lifeguards will be on duty at all times.
• Lockers are available in the locker room for daily use. Please bring your own lock.
