Junior Mountain Biking Camp Registration Information

Registration for Summer Camps opens on February 15, 2023, at 8:00 am EST.

The deadline for registration is listed on the camp's webpage.

 

Online Registration

The online registration link on Junior Mountain Biking camp page (REGISTER NOW) takes you directly to the online registration page for your camp. This is a secure website maintained by Michigan Tech (buyhuskiestickets.com).

There are two main steps for registration:

  1. Create an account through the Michigan Tech ticketing website (if you don’t already have one)
  2. How to Register

With our mountain biking camps filling fast, it is a good idea to create an account ahead of time (if you don’t already have one) and familiarize yourself with the ticketing website layout. These steps will help you to get through the registration process faster. New this year - payment is due in full at the time of registration.

Parents should be registering for an account through the Michigan Tech Ticketing website with their information. Participant will be collected during registration.

1. Creating an Account through Michigan Tech Ticketing Website

Creating an MTU Ticketing Account

If you already have an account through the Michigan Tech Ticketing website, then you do not need to create another account. You can simply log in to your existing account and continue on to Step 2, How to Register.

First, visit buyhuskiestickets.com and click Log In/Register.

Choose Students/Faculty/Staff or General Public from the drop-down menu.

NOTE: If you are a Michigan Tech Full-Time Faculty or Staff member, you can log in with your Michigan Tech username and password. 

If you are not a Michigan Tech Full-Time Faculty or Staff member, please select General Public. Select the Register option. Type in your email address, confirm your email address, type in a password, select whether or not you would like to receive email updates about upcoming events, and then click Register as General Public.

The next step is to fill in your information as seen in the screenshot below such as: first name, last name, phone number, etc. When you have finished filling out your information, click Save at the bottom of the screen.

After clicking the Save button, your account through Michigan Tech Ticketing will be created. Using your account through Michigan Tech Ticketing will allow you to purchase tickets and available camps. You will receive an email from tickets@mtu.edu letting you know that your account has been created.

2. How to Register

Registering for Mountain Biking Camp

Click the Register Now link on the camp’s webpage.

Log in to the ticketing website with your account.

Go to Registration Options and select the Week and select the quantity. You may register for more than one week at a time.

Click Register. After clicking the Register button, the items you have selected will remain in your cart for 20 minutes. If these 20 minutes expire before you click Checkout, you will lose them from your cart. Answer the required questions and check out before the 20 minutes are up. You can also add more camp purchases to your cart before checking out. If you would like to add more camps to your cart, see the Add More to Cart section below.

After clicking Checkout, a pop-up will appear, informing you that you have 15 minutes to complete the payment process. Fill out the information and click Continue on the bottom right corner. You may check out with an American Express, Discover, Mastercard, or Visa card.

You will receive an automatic email from tickets@mtu.edu informing you of the purchase. Please look for this email (including your spam) and read it as it will give you information regarding future communications about your camp.

Add More to Cart

You can add other camps to your cart before checking out. For instance, registering a participant for Group 2 and Group 3 hockey camps will require you to add more to cart. First click Add to Cart.

 

After clicking add more to cart, you will be brought to the Michigan Tech Ticketing homepage. From here, find the Category tab on the left. Under Category, select MTU Sports Camps. Select the camp you are trying to register for.

After selecting the camp you are trying to register for, go through the same registration process as above. Select your quantity, click Register, then answer the required questions and proceed to Checkout or Add More to Cart.

Payment

Payment is due in full at the time of registration for each camp and participant. The deadline for registration is posted on the camp's webpage. Camp prices will not be prorated due to late arrival or early departure. You will receive an automatic receipt from our system upon registration with payment.

Processing and Confirmation

Please allow 7-10 days for processing. An email along with a confirmation packet will be sent to participants when their registration is processed. Please be sure to check your email (including spam) regularly for information from the Michigan Tech Sports Camps staff.

The confirmation packet must be submitted within two weeks of receiving it. Registration is not guaranteed until the confirmation packet is received.

Mountain Biking participants will receive another email regarding a campus application. The campus application must also be submitted within two weeks of receiving it. The campus application will collect information for participant IDs, staying on campus, and eating in the dining hall. Registration is not guaranteed until the campus application is received.

Michigan Tech Sports Camps cannot guarantee placement in the camp or accommodations if information is not received in a timely manner. 

Refunds

Refunds, less a $50 cancellation fee, are available until 4 weeks prior to the start of camp. After the 4-week deadline, refunds less the cancellation fee will be issued for medical reasons only.

Written notice of cancellation from a parent or guardian must be accompanied by a doctor's note. Please include the participant's name and the camp they're registered for.

 

If a participant is injured during camp, a refund will be issued in the form of a credit voucher for the next year for 80 percent of the unused portion of camp.

No refunds are given when a participant is expelled for disciplinary reasons.

In the event that a camp is canceled, registration fees only (we do not refund travel expenses) will be refunded in full or campers will have the option of switching to a similar camp if available.
