Build your muscular strength and endurance, flexibility, balance, and cardiovascular system with this all levels TRX + total body conditioning class. This class will focus on all muscle groups and be a mix of TRX suspension training, bodyweight training, dumbbell, bosu balls, bands...you name it - fun new exercises every week! This class will push your limits and leave you feeling accomplished! All exercises can be modified to suit your unique fitness needs.
NOTE: Each TRX class is first come, first serve due to limited space/equipment.
Comfortable athletic wear and sneakers/cross trainers.

About the Instructor
Kristen Monahan begins her second season as an assistant coach with the Michigan Tech Cross Country Running and Nordic Ski teams. Kristen is a 2011 Michigan Tech graduate where she competed for the Cross Country Running, Nordic Ski, and Track and Field teams and earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Exercise Science. After graduation, she moved to Sun Valley, Idaho where she interned as a coach and sports scientist with the Sun Valley Ski Education Foundation. After her time in Sun Valley, she moved to Jyväskylä, Finland to ski for Huhtasuon Hiihto, a Finnish Nordic ski club, and received her Master’s in Exercise Physiology from the University of Jyväskylä where she worked in KIHU, the Research Center for Olympic sports. After completing her studies, Kristen moved back to Sun Valley where she coached for the Sun Valley Ski Education Foundation, instructed conditioning classes at the local fitness center, and coached and trained master level cross country skiers. Kristen absolutely loves the outdoors - especially trail running, cross country skiing, mountain biking, and alpine skiing. She recently received her TRX certification and is excited to share her knowledge of sports and training with others so that they can enjoy it as much as she does.
