POUND Fitness Workout
 

Using Ripstix®, lightly weighted drumsticks engineered specifically for exercising, POUND® transforms drumming into an incredibly effective way of working out.

Instead of listening to music, you become the music in this exhilarating full-body workout that combines cardio, conditioning, and strength training with yoga and pilates-inspired movements.

Designed for all fitness levels, POUND® provides the perfect atmosphere for letting loose, getting energized, toning up, and rockin’ out! The workout is easily modifiable, and the alternative vibe and welcoming philosophy appeals to men and women of all ages and abilities.

Special Requirements

Comfortable athletic wear and sneakers/cross-trainers. Participants must be a minimum of 16 years old.

New HuskiesFit Punch Cards expire one year from the date of purchase, are valid for the current list of available classes, and will not be exchanged or refunded due to classes not being offered on a consistent basis. Customers are responsible for keeping their cards.

About the Instructor

Lauren McIntyre, HuskiesFit POUND Instructor

Lauren McIntyre, POUND Pro – Lauren McIntyre is a student at Michigan Technological University studying to become a Biomedical Engineer. She started attending fitness classes a few years ago as a pre-season workout with her Varsity Soccer team. That’s when she discovered Pound. She fell in love with the upbeat music and the intensity of the classes. In June 2021 she became a certified Pound Pro and has loved every minute of each cardio jam session. She firmly believes anyone can try it, love it, and become addicted to the fast-paced workout.
