Registration and payment can be completed online, by phone at 906-487-2073, or at the SDC Ticket Office. A parent or guardian must sign a waiver of liability and concussion awareness form prior to participation. You will receive an admission ticket to present to your instructor on the first day of class.
This course will provide students with an introduction to basic tumbling and movement. This class is an introductory course designed for children with little to no gymnastics experience. Topics covered will be tailored to the student’s skill level, and will include rolls, handstands, bridges, cartwheels, stretching, and jumps. The goal of this course is to introduce basic tumbling techniques and terminology in a safe, fun environment. Class size is limited.
Girls should wear a gymnastics leotard and footless tights; boys should wear a T-shirt, shorts, or sweat pants.

About the Instructors
From gymnastics to competitive German dance, Jaela has been involved in tumbling-related activities her whole life. She is now a first-year Tech student and a member of the cheer team. In her free time she likes to run, read, and play the piano.
Sarah Shilts is a third year Computer Science Major. She is a member of the Michigan Tech Cheer Team and has over five years of gymnastics training. She has participated is cheerleading and tumbling regularly for the past six years and is excited to teach others what she has learned.
