SDC Facilities Schedule
The SDC will be closed Friday, April 26 through Friday, May 3 for spring commencement, the annual steam plant shutdown, and other maintenance projects. The SDC will reopen on Saturday, May 4 with reduced hours for the summer ending Sunday, August 25.
Defensive Handgun Course
The Defensive Handgun Course is designed to educate students about the handguns that are best for personal defense as well as how to use them appropriately. Includes time in the classroom as well as in the range. Register today!
MacInnes Student Ice Arena will be Closed for Renovations in the Spring & Summer
Michigan Tech’s John MacInnes Student Ice Arena will be closed this spring and summer for overdue facility maintenance. The renovation project will begin after spring commencement and will be completed in mid-August.
Huskies to the Rescue: Lifeguards Earn National Red Cross Award
Their training, skills and teamwork helped save a life last summer. For three lifeguards at the Michigan Tech Student Development Complex (SDC) Pool, there’s no greater reward.
