Figure Skating School
The Summer Figure Skating School will take place July 31 - August 4, 2023, at the John MacInnes Student Ice Arena on the campus of Michigan Tech. Local and guest professionals will be available for private lessons and ice time will be available from 8:00am to 5:00pm daily. The School with conclude with a USFS test session on Friday, August 4.
Figure Skating Practice
Summer figure skating ice will be available at the John MacInnes Student Ice Arena this summer. A current club membership and United Skates Figure Skating membership are required.
Learn to Skate
MTU's Learn to Skate program takes place in the John MacInnes Student Ice Arena on the campus of Michigan Tech. Open to boys and girls age 3 and up, the Learn to Skate program provides group lessons by certified professional instructors. We focus on having fun while teaching the basics! The Skate Rental Center is now open and renting equipment during certain program operating hours.
